Thank you Coral for your time, sharing your insights with other yoga teachers, and helping spread yoga to the masses with your teaching. There is nothing nicer than being able to look at poses and if any more info is needed to just click on it and get a YouTube video or explanation. It is also a marvelous tool for establishing a home practice, especially for a newbie.
Yoga sequence builder how to#
I think that it’s wonderful to cement the relationship between a teacher and a student by using the features of the builder to show a student how to do something. I think it really helps yoga training students see how a class needs to flow and how pacing works. I think it is a marvelous teaching resource for students and teachers alike. Who do you think can benefit from an online Yoga Sequence Builder tool? What do you not like about Yoga Sequence Builder tool? I plan on using the sequencer to continue with my private classes as well as once I start my YouTube channel of Yoga and wellness classes in Spanish. I’ve been able to share sequences with friends and fellow yoga teachers. I like that it’s accessible via computer, tablet and smartphone without being an app I have to download. I love the ability to add custom poses and that I can send a quick note about something I need and that I always get a reply. I love the accessibility of creating sequences and adding all the features that you need to design a class. I love that the website is responsive, especially when I’ve been in a situation where I’ve forgotten my printouts or laptop and can easily pull up my sequence on my smartphone. I like that I can either print them out or have them available digitally. I use the sequence builder to build my own style and sequences that I can come back to time and time again. I ultimately decided it was the platform for me because of two main things: I was able to save and share all my sequences in my own library and the great support and customer service for adding new poses and dealing with any questions. Then it was the healthy amount of poses in the library. The first thing that drew me in was the pictures of the poses – so approachable. What do you like about Yoga Sequence Builder? I thought about copying and pasting pictures from yoga websites into a wonky layout, but then I found. I needed something that was visually appealing that went beyond stick figures. I initially started looking for a Yoga Sequence Builder because I am a visual learner and needed to become comfortable in developing and designing my yoga classes. Why were you looking for a Yoga Sequence Builder? Body types, age, race, language, financial situations – none of that matters once you get on the mat. I think that yoga is for everyone and I strive to make it accessible to anyone who wants to practice. I decided to become a yoga teacher after experiencing the healing aspects of yoga first hand. What prompted you to become a yoga teacher?

You can find me at or on my Facebook page at My specialties are: Hatha and Vinyasa, Yoga for All Bodies, Yoga for Spanish Speakers and Yoga for those who don’t traditionally have access to it. I completed my Yoga Teacher Training, RYT-200 under the guidance of my teacher Mandy Ryle at Sound Method Yoga, Omaha, NE in June 2016. Coral talks about why she teaches yoga (very inspiring) and how an online yoga sequence builder tool can be a great resource for yoga teachers.Ĭould you briefly tell us about yourself?

It's one of the few times I actually write (as opposed to type), and I prefer it this way.We are excited to share below our recent Q&A with Coral Del Mar, RYT-200. Although I had a great experience using this software, I reverted back to my old paper and pen. I will say that personally, I tend to create my sequences while I am doing a home practice, and so I prefer to have a notebook by my side and jot down things this way. I think, for a newer instructor still building their wheelhouse of poses and sequences, this is a great too - because you can see everything visually, and even view and borrow other instructors sequences if you are looking for inspiration. I was really impressed of how easy it was to customize the notes on this site, and even add my own images and poses. I've been teaching yoga for nearly a decade now, and I have to say I come up with some pretty in depth and specific sequences. I couldn't believe how many options this program had. I feel like they have thought of everything, and I can't say enough good things about this product. Also, even though you shouldn't ever be staring. Comments: As a yoga teacher, I believe it is important to provide some predicability in your sequences, as well as variety to challenge and spark the mind and body.
